In our new "throw away" economy, many people think that it is not cost effective to repair their LCD or flat panel TV. Actually in most cases it is very cost effective to repair. The only exception is if the LCD panel itself has been damaged from an unfortunate "Wii accident" or if an intoxicated Super bowl party guest decided to throw a beer bottle at the screen after a bad play.

Even in a case like this, there is some consolation. With all of the green initiative these days, there is a market for sets that have damaged screens as their only defect. The internal electronics is still usable to repair other sets at a discount, making the economy of the repair option all the better. Sometimes we can manage to make one good set out of two bad ones making it suitable for sale as a used item. It's better that these sets end up being used for parts and rebuilding rather than clogging up a land fill as waste!  In fact if that happens-it is a waste!

Unfortunately, with many  of the "off brand sets" being sold, the recycled parts are the only parts source. These are not companies in the traditional sense. They are often third party branding and marketing companies that make 'container deals" with manufacturers overseas, mostly in China to bring a quantity container lot here to be sold by mass marketers. That's great if you want a good price, but not so good if you need repair. The warranty is of the "exchange type" where they will give you a replacement set if the new one fails during the warranty period. Once the container lot is exhausted, there are no more sets or parts available of that model in some cases.

With the old tradtional ( mostly Japanese and Korean) brands, those manufacturers have plants and warehouses in this country where new parts can be obtained during the warranty period and after. Generally, durring the warranty period, sets from traditional manufacturers are referred to authorized service centers, such as our facilty, for repair as well as are the non warranty sets.

In short, if you have a flat panel TV in need of repair, we can probably fix it. If that is not possible or practical, we may want to buy it.
